GMP Smart Power is part of a larger smart grid initiative being rolled out across the state and the country. In Vermont, this program is known as the eEnergy Vermont initiative. GMP Smart Power is taking advantage of Smart Grid Investment Grants made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), which partially fund the program.
