At Green Mountain Power, we’ve been focused on low-cost, low-carbon energy for decades. It is reflected in our existing energy plan. Vermont is a truly special place, and as Vermont’s largest utility, we want to continue to ensure that our work helps keep it that way.
From development of clean, low-emission wind power to the largest hydroelectric fleet in New England, we work every day to provide our customers with affordable, clean energy. We’re planning to make Rutland our headquarters for operations and home for our new Energy Innovation Center, the focal point of a broad expansion of solar energy. And we continue to develop GMP Cow Power, which CVPS created and which was named the Department of Energy’s Green Power Program of the Year in 2009.
