Fuel Assistance

File for Fuel Assistance
Vermont's Fuel Assistance Program helps low-income Vermonters pay for a part of their winter home heating bills. If you believe you may qualify for the Fuel Assistance Program this coming winter, you need to apply by the end of August to get full benefits. You can apply up until the last day of February; however, the later you apply, the later your benefit will be issued and the benefit amount may be smaller.

To get an application, call the FUEL OFFICE at 1-800-479-6151, or pick one up at a local office of the Department of PATH (Prevention, Assistance, Transition and Health Access), Community Action Agency or Area Agency on Aging. Apply today to help stay warm this winter!
