We’re a passionate group of people who come into work every day at GMP to make sure the lights stay on. The thing is that’s not all we do. We figure out ways to incorporate more renewables into the fuel mix. We come up with new ways to lower energy costs through efficiencies and technology. We figure out better ways to serve you and restore your power during severe weather, accidents, and the occasional equipment failure. Now we’re doing even more, and doing it better than ever before.
By working together, the people of GMP are doing more to smoothly integrate GMP Smart Power across our entire service area. As the new GMP, we’re able to get GMP Smart Power up and running sooner so you can enjoy incredibly reliable, consistent service, cleaner sources of energy, shorter response times, and fewer and shorter outages.
Working better together also means that we can respond, recover, and restore much faster and more efficiently. When extreme weather like Superstorm Sandy or recent winter wind storms hit Vermont, our expanded capabilities and additional resources mean we can restore power to more people more quickly. All part of the new GMP, all part of what can happen when we work better together.
